Overview
This tutorial is intended for school administrators or teachers who would like to assign independent practice activities to their students (both individual and group assignments are supported). Please note that this is different than assigning core lessons. For a walkthrough of how to assign core lessons, please see our How to Assign Core Lessons + Exit Tickets guide.
Instructions
- Log in to Wayfinder as a principal, school administrator, counselor, or teacher user.
- Click on the "Activity Library" tab on the left-hand side.
- Toggle to the Student Library by clicking on the "Student Library" option at the top right.
- Click on the independent practice activity you would like to assign to a student or classroom.
- Click on the "Assign" button at the top right of the activity.
- Then, use the dropdown to select the student(s) or classroom(s) you would like to assign this activity to.
- Set the due date for the assignment.
- Lastly, click on "Assign Activity."
- This activity will appear in your student's To-Do List, alongside any other assessments or lessons assigned to them.

How To Edit or Delete an Assignment
- Locate the assignment in the "Assigned Lessons + Activities" section on your Home dashboard, or on the class page (as shown above)
- Click on the vertical ellipses to the right of the assignment

Click "Edit" or "Delete"
