Overview
This article is useful for System Administrators who have already conducted rostering with Flat Files and would like rosters to be managed manually moving forward. This method is suggested if you are not using SFTP to automatically sync your Flat Files and would like to avoid uploading a Flat File every time there is a minor change in your roster.
Switching from Flat File to Manual Rostering will enable your school administrators and teachers to make adjustments to their own rosters throughout the year, such as inviting students to a classroom.
It is also recommended to temporarily switch back to Flat File rostering at least once a semester or quarter, so that any major changes can be pushed through at once.
